The Brewers' Company
The Brewers' Company is an ancient livery, ranking fourteenth in the order of precedence established by an Act of the Court of
Aldermen in 1515. London brewers are known to have organised as a group in the 13th century. Their first royal charter was granted by
Henry VI in 1437, incorporating them with the title "The Master and Keepers or Wardens and Commonality of the Mystery or Art of
Brewers in the City of London"
The Clothworkers' Company
The Clothworkers' Company can boast a history going back almost 500 years and we value our past and traditions. As one of the
Great Twelve Livery Companies, we enjoy a close bond of friendship and co-operation with other such companies and the City
Corporation. The Company takes pride in performing its civic obligations and contributing to the living history of London.

The Company of Pewterers
The Worshipful Company of Pewterers is one of the older Livery Companies in the City of London. It is number 16 in
the order of civic precedence among over a hundred companies. The earliest documented reference to it is in the
records of the Corporation dated 1348 when the "goodfolk, makers of vessels of pewter" came before the Mayor
and Aldermen asking for approval of the Articles which they had drawn up for the regulation of the trade.
The Cutlers' Company
The Cutlers' Company is one of the most ancient of the City of London livery companies and received its first
Royal Charter from Henry V in 1416. Its origins are to be found among the cutlers working in the medieval City of
London in the vicinity of Cheapside.
The Drapers' Company
From its origins as a medieval guild, the Drapers' Company today has wide ranging interests and responsibilities:
it administers charitable trusts relating to relief of need, education and almshouses; it provides banqueting and
catering services; and it fosters its heritage and traditions of good fellowship. Ranked third in precedence of the
Great Twelve Livery Companies, the Drapers' Company continues to support the City of London.
The Dyers Company
The Company's present-day activities are centred on continuing development of the craft of dyeing (nowadays
largely chemistry) through strong connections with (amongst others) the Dept. of Colour Chemistry at Leeds University
and the Society of Dyers & Colourists in Bradford, education (The Norwich School and several schools in the
LOGVEC scheme in London) and general charitable work.
The Fishmongers' Company
The Fishmongers' Company is one of the Twelve Great Livery Companies of the City of London and amongst the most
ancient of the City Guilds, with an unbroken existence of more than 700 years.
